The B.C. Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure (BC MoTI) is implementing an Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) that consolidates the management of the lower mainland’s highway network, including open road sections, bridges and tunnel systems, to a new Regional Traffic Management Centre (RTMC). The system will allow shared control of all existing and future Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) devices and data from BC MoTI and other transportation agencies throughout the lower mainland area. IBI Group is delivering the telecommunications, traffic management and control systems for this project.

About the speaker:

Bruno Peters is an Associate Director of IBI Group with over 20 years if Intelligent Transportation Systems experience. He is the project manager for this project and will present of the key elements of the program.
