In the past, our members have shared with us that the monthly luncheons continue to be a great way to stay connected with the transportation engineering and planning industry, and we, the NACITE Executive, take great pride in organizing these events. We have also worked very hard to keep registration fees low to provide all of our members with the opportunity to regularly attend.

Since 2015, the Faculty Club has increased their pricing on three different occasions, resulting in a combined price increase of about 40%. While we have been mindful about increasing registration fees, we have been forced to do so in the past (the last registration fee increase was in September 2016). Unfortunately, we have been forced to increase our registration fees once again.

Therefore, effective January 2018, NACITE has increased the registration fees for luncheons. The 2018 rates are:

• $35 for members;
• $40 for non-members; and
• $15 for students.

We also wanted to note that we explored ways to avoid a registration fee increase by searching for an alternative venue. While we found a number of venues that can compete with the Faculty Club’s prices, none of the venues could match the Faculty Club in terms of menu options, food quality and availability of presentation equipment, and location. We concluded that the Faculty Club does provide a high level of service for a competitive price, and at a convenient location for most. Therefore, for the time being, we will continue to host our luncheons at the Faculty Club in the foreseeable future but may consider an alternative venue at some point in 2018.
