Oct 2, 2019 NACITE Luncheon
This month’s luncheon is sponsored by Nektar 3D Consulting:
In the age of big data and at a time of transition towards smart cities and smart mobility, the demand for adopting intelligent tools and strategies when managing and designing transportation infrastructure is unprecedented. One innovative technology that has gained popularity in this regard is mobile LiDAR. This presentation will demonstrate the value of mobile LiDAR technology in improving the efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness of a variety of transportation projects. Whether it is functional planning studies, 3R/4R projects, or neighborhood renewal initiatives, this presentation will highlight how LiDAR technology could support the workflow of such projects by facilitating virtual assessments of existing infrastructure.
